Workshop Using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Methodology

Participants use LEGO® bricks to tackle real challenges through building, storytelling, and sharing.

I am a certified facilitator of workshops using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Methodology. I apply this methodology to:

  • Link team & individual work to company strategy
  • Identify and remove obstacles preventing you from achieving set goals
  • Improve communication and collaboration within a single team or between teams

How it works

Based on a preparation meeting where I get to know the background, context and desired outcomes, I prepare questions and challenges. During the workshop, I ask all participants to answer these questions by building models with LEGO® bricks. Each participant builds, shares the story of their individual model and asks questions about other participants’ models. Finally, all participants build a common model answering the question or challenge they were given.

Because everyone builds and presents their own model, the method drives genuine engagement, curiosity, and inclusion — no one sits on the sidelines.

This method is useful to move away from traditional workshops while remaining very concrete during discussions, as everything is built physically in LEGO® bricks. After the workshop, you receive pictures and videos of the models that you can use to carry on the good discussions and follow up on the actions agreed upon.

The LSP method allows a high degree of alignment across the group and a clear set of agreed actions — built on shared understanding rather than top-down direction.
