About me
My journey has been anything but ordinary, and it’s this diversity of experience that fuels my open-minded approach to leadership and problem solving.
I grew up in Lille, in the north of France, where I earned my Master’s in International Trade and Negotiations from the University of Applied Foreign Languages. My career began in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I traded seafood and built an export department from the ground up. I developed a diverse European client base, forged strong supplier relationships across Scotland, and took on my first leadership role - managing a small team and even stepping in as interim factory manager for a newly acquired langoustine processing plant.
I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark in 2011. I spent 3 years in business development in FMCG where I built a customer base in southern Europe and created a logistics platform to supply the area ensuring cost efficiency for deliveries. I developed a strong interest for process improvement, removing waste, doing “things right” and finding ways to support processes digitally to increase efficiency. I switched to less operational roles where I had the opportunity to support businesses with process improvement, organisational efficiency and digitalisation.
As a specialist, I have been part of strategic and transformational projects where I developed reliable approaches and methods to solve leadership challenges, clarify complex problems, develop and implement actionable plans.
As a people leader I built and developed services and teams. I aligned deliverables with company strategy, provided strong directions, developed ways of working, motivated and supported development of team members.
I live in Copenhagen with my Danish husband and our two daughters. At home, we speak English, French, and Danish, blending cultures and perspectives daily.
Living and working across borders has taught me that “the way we do things” is never universal. Even in neighboring countries, people think, act, and approach challenges differently. This realization has shaped my leadership style - I constantly seek new perspectives, challenge assumptions, and ask, “Could this be done differently?”
As a leader, I embrace this mindset by:
- Encouraging curiosity - in myself and others.
- Valuing feedback - both giving and receiving it openly.
- Engaging stakeholders - to ensure diverse voices shape decisions.
Every day, I learn and adapt - whether navigating global business environments or raising multilingual children. It’s this openness to growth and change that defines how I lead.
